2nd YoYoSpin Terror Top for 2018...
I've never made more than ten Terror Tops in a year...3 in 2017, 10 in 2016, 6 in 2015, 3 in 2014, 10 in 2013, 0 in 2012 and 22 total between 2001 and 2011. And, each one is different is some way from the others. As far as I know, I am the only woodturner on earth who makes Terror Tops, so I think they are quite collectible.
100% handmade, one-of-a-kind, new and never played with. This lathe turned combination yo-yo and spin top (the "Terror Top") is made from a single block of beautifully figured Mexican Cocobolo wood. No glue is used to hold the sides and axle together...it's all one piece, a YoYoSpin design trademark. The tips are also hand finished and made from hard Delrin plastic.
Perfectly balanced, this yo-yo art piece, with Rose Engine Lathe turnings, measures about 2.25" x 2.60" and weighs 58 grams (2.0 ounces) with string. Each side looks the same, as shown in the front, back and side views.
Includes gift bag, clear acrylic display shown in photos, and extra string. For the collector of fine and unusual wooden toys or old school fixed axle yoyo players. This item is not intended for use by children 3 years of age or younger.

New Product Announcement: Eyewear Carry Pendant / Brooch, by YoYoSpin.
I make things that spin & go round - stuff that nobody else makes - eclectic, unique, interesting and always different is what I strive for. Many of my lathe turnings are made from exotic and hard to find woods, often embellished with Rose Engine turnings, jewels, laminations and encapsulations. Enjoy your visit.
