100% handmade, one-of-a-kind, new and never played with. This yo-yo is a variation of the classic satellite shape. The body is made from a single block of East Texas Osage Orange wood, with Southeast Asian Amboyna burl side caps and black acrylic spacers. No glue is used to hold the Osage sides and axle together...it's all one piece, a YoYoSpin design trademark.
The Pointed Satellite yoyo was prototyped by Duncan back in the 1950's but never put into production. This yoyo is a faithful replica of the original size and shape.
Perfectly balanced, and an easy spinner with excellent hand-feel, this lathe-turned work of art measures about 2.25" x 2.20" and weighs 53 grams with string. Each side looks the same, as shown in the front, back and side views.
Includes gift bag, clear acrylic display shown in photos, and extra string. For the collector of fine and unusual wooden toys or old school fixed axle yoyo players. This item is not intended for use by children 3 years of age or younger.

I make things that spin & go round - stuff that nobody else makes - eclectic, unique, interesting and always different is what I strive for. Many of my lathe turnings are made from exotic and hard to find woods, often embellished with Rose Engine turnings, laminations and encapsulations. Enjoy your visit.
